… will know the joy of coming to the end. Finishing something is so satisfying, and for a writer to type in those two words

… well, for me it’s thrilling. A cause for celebration. A sense of achievement.
My second book - A Murder of Crows is finished! Now the hard work begins. The manuscript is lurking in my laptop. Settling there for at least a month until I revisit it to start the lengthy process of editing, drafting and redrafting. (My first book, Shameful Girls has had 8 drafts.)
So now I am gathering resources and contacting people to talk with - to research for the next one - Not at this Address. Some likely - and unlikely, characters are starting to pop into my head. They’re dancing around Morven, Cynthia and Nathan from A Murder of Crows.
It’s quite crowded in my writer brain!
